Two Too Small

December 23, 2021

First crayfish dive of the season.

I managed to snag a couple on this dive. My buddy was using a crayfish noose to catch them. He was catching them on most attempts but one got away from him and swam right towards me. It might as well have swam right into my catch bag. All I had to do was reach out and grab it for an easy catch.

My second catch was in a good location. The crayfish was hanging out upside down underneath a rock. Easy pickings.

However, after measurements back on the boat, it turned out they were two too small and went back into the ocean.
